LIL MAN NEEDS OUR HELP His story and pictures are below. He has a growing outstanding debt of a little over $1800.00 right now (EVEN WITH A DISCOUNT) with Veterinary Specialty Care in Mount Pleasant, SC. BIANNUCCHI AND HIS STAFF FOR ALL THE CARE THEY HAVE GIVEN TO LIL MAN. Lil Man – turned in by ‘owner’ with a broken jaw on both sides. He is about four years old, four lbs. and HW/4DX negative. We took him to Mt. Pleasant to the specialist where they performed surgery on him and he is recovering in a foster home. SUPER SWEET lil guy!/ Lil Man and their other dog (a large black lab) in the house got into a fight over a ball, and unfortunately Lil Man’s jaw was broken on both sides. VERY SEVERELY. In order to save his life, he had to go to the specialist in Mt Pleasant. Emergency surgery was performed on July 4th. He had to have an external fixattor and had a feeding tube for 7-10 days and has had several follow ups. Unfortunately his fixattor was not doing the job as expected. As a result another fixattor was attached to the other side of his jaw. One of the fixattors has subsequently fallen out and that side of the jaw has now been wired to the existing fixattor! (Whew, are we confused yet about the fixators?) Additionally, a rotten tooth had to be pulled. This wiring and tooth pulling was done 9/30. He is scheduled for another follow up on 10/14. With all that he has gone through, he is still one happy boy and deserves a happy life.
