Jewels - English Springer mix (Rescue only) ID# 21479226 - female (Owner Surrender) Approximate Age: 1 years Intake: 11/12/13 ****Space is at a premium – please act quickly to save this soul – can be PTS at any time*** This beautiful little girl was dumped by her humans due to her high prey drive. We haven’t cat tested, but if she does indeed chase small animals, a kitty free home would be best. The trainer had Jewels put with out dogs and said with an experienced handler shes manageable. He will keep working with socializing her. She must have had a solitary life. Jewels is also very, very scared. I did not see any behavior signs, but others had so she is being listed as rescue only. When I had her in the yard she was very timid and when I approached her she sunk to ground and submitted so most of the pics in this thread are of her in that position. She accepted being loved on, and was careful about taking treats. Maybe her past humans weren’t the kind, loving type this scared, confused baby needed. But we know that human(s) is out there - and we are the team to find ‘em!! Please help her find rescue by sharing/tagging/pledging! !
