LIVE UPDATES FROM THE COMMUNION SERVICE The GCS has started off with Rev. Tom asking for praise reports from several zonal pastors such as Pastor Femi Otenigbagbe, Pastor Lanre Alabi, Pastor Joy Amenkhienan, Pastor Deola Philips amongst others. So many testimonies were shared with regards to the glorious month of August. The praise report segment was rounded off by Pastor Karen Victor, who gave an inspiring report on the programs held in Asia in the month of August. Indeed, the word of God is spreading far and wide in the continent of Asia The Pastor Chris Live Segment with Pastor Chris answering questions from all around the world. The first question says Would it be wise to let someone infected with the Ebola virus attend church services? Pastor answered by saying that as Christians we need to realize that we have eternal life in us. The word has been given to us already, we come from God, we live in his kingdom now, it doesnt matter how we drink any deadly thing, once it gets in to us it cant have any effect on us. We have eternal life. The second question: I know that righteousness is not by our deeds, how then can hatred and anger take someone to hell? Pastor explained that we need to understand that there are certain sins that come from the human spirit even though they are committed through the flesh (such as hatred and anger). Jesus said walk in love, if we walk in love we will not sin. All sins are washed in the blood of Christ, the very nature of sin was laid on him. CONCERNING WHAT MOST PEOPLE WANTED TO HEAR ABOUT THE MEDIA WAR ...If a man of God is married, it doesnt mean that the wife of the man of God is therefore a woman of God. Thats not the way it is in the Bible. Thats why you dont really find the wives of the men of God mentioned in the Bible. Who was Peters wife? Did you ever hear of her name? Who was Johns wife, ever heard of her name? What about the other apostles, how many of their wives name were written in the bible? Ever found their names? Why? Ask God when you find Him (lolz). So they are little things, dont try to make something big out of them. We are journeying, doing the things that God has asked us to do. Christians should not have a divorce, it shouldnt be. That doesnt mean a Christian may not take the step but that doesnt make it right. We shouldnt take one another to court. But when it happens, even though we didnt want to go there someone is taking us there, and thats the problem. Be wise and stay focused in the word of God and dont let those who want to feast on things like this, including Christians. You know there are Christians who like things like this, they want to make something big out of it. They would say yea yea yea we said it (you said what? Pastor retorted...lolz). Be wise. Its our month for MORE GRACE and we will be lifted, strengthened by the lord with a greater future than never before. I tell people, our future is greater than our past. Think about what is in front of you. Think about how the Spirit of God is moving you on. We are moving by the speed of God and this world have never seen what theyre about to see. Glory to God. September is the month of More Grace
