LIVING INDESTRUCTIBLES The units play in living beings the same role as atoms in inanimate objects. Just as the arrangement of atoms fixes both the form and the qualities of things, so the arrangement of living particles determines both shape and properties of “beings”. Like atoms, these units that the eye cannot see bit with logic has to accept [ this was written in 1965, but the information is sometimes more relevant than modern scientific discoverys], represent the ultimate aim ODF all investigation. Like atoms, these units are linked by the force termed “attraction” by physicists and “affinity” by chemists, the force that gives beings and things their cohesion. Like atoms, units are “indestructible”. Yet the units are not atoms. They are particles of a special type, restricted to living beings alone. Ultimately, the composition of living creatures is distinguished from that of inanimate objects by the nature of their elementary components. When an organism dies, the particles that constitute it do not perish. They simply dissociate and become available to form a new combination, to make a new being. These living particles exist everywhere in nature.... the seminal fluid of each species, said Maupertuis, contains an innumerable multitude of parts able to form, by their assemble, animals of the same species. Now I remember some of this from Bio 131, but, not them teaching this. This is correct, experiments, especially from Mendel prove it. The reason nature does this is quite simple, sense atoms cannot be destroyed why not use the same ones, the cost is free. Evolution favors materials that cost nothing. Nature simply rearranges the units made available by the death of other organisms. The reason I am posting this is for several. I believe many here can observe the obvious. Especially Digital. When I told him “ We do not morn for our love ones when they die, that is a lie , we morn for our loss, it is a selfish act.” It is a selfishness, which of course persons will deny till our last breath.
