LIVING LAMMA AGM The Annual General Meeting for Living Lamma - TopicsExpress

LIVING LAMMA AGM The Annual General Meeting for Living Lamma will be held at 10 am on Saturday January 10th on the beach next to the Sampan at Yung Shue Wan. The business of the meeting: 1. Election of Committee for 2015 2. Adoption of Financial Report After that there will be a general chat so that people can find out more and let us know if they would like to get more involved (you dont need to be on the committee - volunteers are always welcome and we can help with our extensive experience of engaging with government and carrying out clean up and recycling initiatives over the last 6 years) We will also be trying our new clean up station, so that anyone, anytime can jump down onto the beach and clean up (including those people from the bike park - ha! ha!) We have had 5 nominations for the committee thus far: Roz Keep, Sheli Bowman, Charlotte Varley, Barbara Tavernard, and me, Jo Wilson. If you would like to put yourself forward for the committee, please send me a message with a few lines about who you are, what your skills are, and what you would like to contribute. We can have up to 10 members on the committee and we need people with time, particularly in the day, who can actively carry out ideas (particularly for fund raising, running events, etc.) If we get more than 10 nominations, there will be a vote on 10th January. Deadline for nominations: January 3rd 2015. Anyone is welcome to come to the AGM. Membership of Living Lamma is currently free. Our motto: If you clean, youre in! But please RSVP if you would like to come to the AGM, so that we can make adequate preparations. Photos: A clean up station in the making: One crate, rescued from landfill. Plastic from the beach for decoration, now sorted in jars, ready for some creativity.
