LOCAL HABITAT AFFILIATE RENAMED TROY, Oh. --- (January 15, 2015) Habitat for Humanity of Miami County, OH has officially changed its name to Habitat for Humanity of Miami & Shelby Counties, OH (HFHMSCO) effective January 1, 2015. This “new” affiliate – HFHMSCO – has been renamed to better represent both counties as we pursue the Habitat mission. “We have been working diligently towards incorporating the newly acquired territory of Shelby County over the past year to represent one unified affiliate to serve the needs of both counties,” said William Horstman, Executive Director of HFHMSCO. The ReStore has outgrown its capacity and we are looking to secure space which will triple its size to 15,000 sq. ft. Currently, upholstered furniture donations are being accepted for a “new” furniture department. Other initiatives are: ReStore Capital Funding campaign; Board of Trustees recruitment; forecasting Builds for 2015; increasing our Volunteer database, and planning our strategic retreat.
