LOCATION FARM FOODS LANCASTER...so there l am with a trolley full of goodies when behind me in the queue is Mother earth and her brat...The brat decides to start putting my things back on the shelf..Mother Earth is in a kind of Gypsie dress she probably bought for Glastonbury some years earlier where the brat was probably conceived after a heavy night of pot smoking and dancing round a fire with tamberines . Mother Earth decides to chastise the brat and says in a calm quiet voice..Now come on poppet, thats naughty put the ladies things back now!.....he takes no notice and absconds with my shredded wheat and puts it with the tinned tomatos ...She says a little louder..Richard that is very naughty!...then smiles at me and says......he knows hes done wrong because we normally call him Dick.... l said Dick For Brains l assume do you want me to have a go.... In a much more authorative voice alongside a meaningful stare l said Oy, Sunbeam..put the stuff back NOW!..he stopped dead in his tracks retrieved a packet of shredded wheat......l bend down to the child whose gaze never left me and said in a whisper...its two for one get another packet !!!! The little fella was kinda a growing on me by now ..... all was well in the end! ;-)
