He is not a math person, though he had to use math a lot when pumping fire trucks and many other times. I got to thinking about it, and in sewing we use math all the time! Fractions, angles, rulers, centimeters to inches and back, parallel/perpendicular, Perhaps math should be taught through sewing in schools. Wouldnt that have been more fun and enjoyable; real world application and sense of accomplishment to boot! I was never a math wiz, but did enjoy geometry immensely.
