LONG DAY Yesterday whooped me, awoke this morning with a freakin headache, but we are all home - no accidents for us, although there were some accidents that happened on the track that looked serious only to have the drivers walk away, the ones i noticed. Yesterday was filled with trials and tribulations, but first i wanna thank Mr. Brian Dehoff and Dakota Dehoff for taking their day to help us. Also wanna thank my mother and my aunt for bringing the food, we were starved till u got there. Those that made it out to watch, sorry our results were less that anticipated, BUT we were glad all that made it had made it. Our Aiden and Summer thoroughly enjoyed themselves yesterday evening at the track. Anyhow, flat kart was fast in 1st practice up until about 3/4 the way through the prasctice when it appeared the kart was slowing down. Trey came in, we noticed the L.F. tire was hanging on by 1 nut, we simply went and put new nuts onto the wheel and sent him out for another practice, little did we know we had other issues starting to creep up on us. We think the rod bearing my have wiped out in our flat karts motor, in any event we took the green for the feature and finished 12 of 13 of this class, some other team had worse luck than us. The Champ Kart, we fought a wicked push to ctr turn loose kart, we worked on this and worked on this and till time trials we had the kart going in what appeared to be the correct direction. Qualifing 3rd with this kart. While waiting for our feature the damn rain came in and wiped the remainder of the show out, thus we were awarded 3rd in our champ kart. Sunday morning now and still feeling the effects of being wiped out. Lot of work to do today to clean our equipment up.
