LONG LIVE the HUMAN SPIRIT: Each time I realize humans are damed to their own fate of violence, greed, and tyranny; all I have to do is read international treaties concerning the protection of human rights, some basic, and others lofty affirmations of Nations and people coming together for better way of life for all. These are the pacts, treaties and international Law I only need to read to have faith in human kind. Call me a leftist liberal hippie, it doesnt matter. But some of dont barriers. Even as a child Ill admit; I never understood the idea of fence. All it meant to me was something to climb, overcome, and see what it protected or housed. This philosophy hasnt eroded me yet; letting no barrier prohibit me. Why not help others? I pondered today how empty inside I feel when I do not. The difficult thing is determining how to do so......but the career path I have chosen for myself should be foiling. ~Be it my Day and goal to contribute to this International work of undeniable truths and rights that exist independently of any National-centric ideology. There are certain rights we have determined to be independent of our differing nations and cultures or theyre merely commonalities. Either wayI tern for the day to make a substantial contribution in some fashion. Why be so selfish and for only Nation, celebrate our diversity, and collaboration; somethings travel across borders including myself and things I many need to live; some tangible others intangible. A fine day it would be when I have the opportunity to contribute regularly as a career, scholastically, or by any means appropriate.
