LONG RANT - After 26 years of knocking myself out...after I make all kinds of waves and contacts, after one lying scumbag agent after another, after being on radio spots, tv telethons, newspaper articles, Los Angeles in 91, Las Vegas in 2001 & 2006, a tv show in Missouri with Mickey Gilley, a bogus trip to Texas, bullshit recording label offers, charity fundraisers...after I get paid good money to sing for 9000 people at the spectacular Beerfest in September...after I make all kinds of waves and contacts, after one lying scumbag agent after another...not one single solitary gig until February and its nowhere near my town. I have no sound man, can barely afford lights...but I will still be there if my truck doesnt break down. Connections are made, emails are sent, phone numbers are dialed. Nothing. Nobody calls back, nobody responds and everyone I talk to is full of shit and wants something for nothing. Does it ever end? Does it ever get old? Do convicted pedophiles who get released into family communities get the same treatment? IM A SURVIVOR. Ok...soooooo Im a security guard chasing drunks out of parking lots in the middle of the night, while I have to watch no talents reap all the benefits and the idiots that support them scream and want more. How did I NOT become the drunk being chased outta the parking lot? IM A SURVIVOR. If I hear one more singer using auto-tune, if I have one more person tell me theyd love it if I came to karaoke night, if I hear one more how come youre still in this town, you should be famous....if I see one more posting of someones band where the musicians cant play their instruments and the singer is a joke and THAT BAND GETS GIGS ALL OVER THE PLACE - Ill eat all 4 of my cats, shave my head, dress up like a clown, light myself on fire and dive off the Malahat and land on a bicycle with no seat and peddle that little bastard all the way to hell and beyond. ANYWAYS...this isnt a cry for help. Its not a post for sympathy. Yes I chose this path, no Im not the worst off in the world. I love my family, my animals. I the few friends I can trust. I try to stay healthy against all odds. I treat people how I like to be treated. I try to help people, I try to encourage those who need it. However, I GET TIRED of the BULLSHIT that rules the day. Im tired of the inbred morons, the politicians, the religious zealots, the bad drivers, elitist snobs, bad kids, bad parents of bad kids, child abuse, animal abuse, child pimping social media, the bought and paid for mainstream news, the mistreatment of the elderly and veterans, bullshit vaccines, fear mongering with viruses and terrorism, poison food and water, police brutality, race baiting, race pimping, gay vs straight, taxes going to corrupt officials and corporations AND most of my neighbors. Thats the SHORTLIST folks. You probably guessed it by now...IM A SURVIVOR like some of you who are reading this...I have survived - multiple ailments including 30 years of diabetes, the loss of multiple loved ones at a young age, bankruptcy, divorce, slander, emotional beatings, threats, lies, thefts and backstabbings. Is that all you got? LOL I can survive ANYTHING and I WILL NEVER QUIT! If this post offends someone, they can piss up a rope. Unfriend me if you dont like it. If you dont approve - not my problem. To my detractors - enjoy watching your society degrade. Watch the zombies on their phones everywhere you go who dont know how to verbally interact with humans. Buy the new Miley Cyrus CD with her skinny ass all up in your face while you cram McDonalds into your obese, raccoon eyed 10 year old daughters mouth as she twerks for you while you light up another joint. Watch your latest mind numbing reality crap and escape. Whack off with your friends to Justin Bieber or Darius Rucker. Like a good friend of mine says...DONT WORRY, I GOT IT!!! If you cant or wont help me, just stay outta my way and let me past. Id do the same for you. Trust me folks...Im not just a fighter, IM A SURVIVOR!
