LOOK WHOS HAVING A BABY!!! Thats right, Mei, our female orangutan is expecting! She is due in just one month - so the zoo is throwing her a very special baby shower! It is going to take place Sunday, May 4th at 2pm. Her and daddy-to-be, Kerajaan, will be enjoying special treats and enrichment in the exhibit. We also would love to have our fabulous community involved to help us celebrate, so their keepers have done a registry for them and the baby at Target and Toys R Us. You can view the registry by searching first name: Mei and Last name: Cameron Park Zoo. This registry is an overall idea of the items that can benefit the orangutans, so any like items purchased at any location would also be accepted and appreciated. You can bring them to the exhibit on the 4th. This is also the last weekend that Mei will be visible on exhibit before the baby comes. Cant wait to see everyone there!!!!
