LOOKING BACK……. Chipped away, from the centuries old Banyan tree of a migrant Brahmin family, settled long back beyond my limited knowledge, in the suburb of Thrissur ,from Peruvambu of Palghat ,in quest of a land to settle down, I, the tail ender of a long line of elders, remained confused, not knowing what to do or where to go. Life started in confusion; others in my front had no time to spare as they themselves were in search of a way out for a better future. Sandwiched between emotions sour and sweet, life had the bitter taste of conflict all the while. Drifting like a fallen leaf in the strong current of Destiny, life has gone through many phases, both bright and dark, which I wish, never to recollect. Relax…. I repeat to myself; I never want to go back to that state of mind which shackled me to an egoistic world of ignorance. I have to graduate some day, cannot remain in the Kindergarten forever. Who am I? …. This question was prompted to Yogananda Paramahamsa when he met Ramana Maharishi , in his quest for wisdom; the same question ,I sometimes ask myself In a relaxed mood. There would be no immediate answer to it, for sure. Wisdom comes late, though knowledge, which can be infused, comes faster. Patience, I wish, I have it in abundance!
