***LOOKING FOR SOMEONE TO TRUST*** A volunteer writes: Like the young noblewoman in Hamlet after which she is named, Ophelia has the potential to become a tragic figure but we wont let that happen! Shes a gorgeous girl in her gray coat, a bit shy but happy to go out and make friends. She warms up to her new person in a few minutes, and even recognized a staff person she made friends with from the previous day! She pulls on the leash at first, but after her business is taken care of she settles in at a nice pace. In the park she ignores dogs of all sizes, even a pack of smalls walked way too close by their person. We stop for some pictures, Ophelia sitting as requested, and has that adorable sideways sit that is so puppylike. Shes just way too cute! Once she feels safe with me, she snuggles in for affection, giving me kisses and a sweet smile. Later in the day when we go out again, her tail wags when I approach as she knows Im a friend. Her leash manners are better as shes not quite as stressed, and her gentle, sweet nature just cries out for some cuddling. Shes a gorgeous little girl, calm, easy and happy to make new friends, both canine and human. Meet our Ophelia today and make her yours.
