From those they vote to POWER, PEOPLE expect Knowledge / Awareness of Realities / GENUINE PATRIOTISM starting from the Top and moving down to grass-root levels / Competence / TIME-MANAGEMENT / Honesty / Sincerity / Compassion / Empathy / Impartiality / Objective Approach in analyzing matters / Wisdom / the POLITICAL WILL (i) to SERVE all the people and the Country,(ii) to face all relevant issues squarely and in time, (iii) to solve all problems in time - without allowing them to snow-ball into unsolvable problems / COLLECTIVE & INDIVIDUAL RESPONSIBILITY / ACCOUNTABILITY / TRANSPARENCY / TOTAL ABSENCE of HYPOCRISY, Corruption, Bribery, Nepotism etc. / ALL DEMOCRATIC FREEDOMS to the PEOPLE and the MEDIA ... Every Citizen of our Country and every Political Party must understand that we need to forge the SRI LANKAN IDENTITY in the MINDSET of every Citizen of our Country through the EFFECTIVE APPLICATION of the Concept of UNIVERSAL BROTHERHOOD in order to ensure PEACE & PROGRESS to the PEOPLE and the COUNTRY ... The Truth about Truth is that Truth is not allowed to be as effective as it ought to be by the Hypocrites in Society in all parts of the world ... :-( Hence, right down the ages ... in the Battle between Truth and Hypocrisy, Truth usually finds itself thrown into Prison by Hypocrisy ... At times however, (in one Place or another) Truth breaks the Prison and defeats Hypocrisy - only to be thrown into Prison after some years ... :-(
