LOVE&FATE 2 It was a Friday morning. The bank was filled with numerous and variety of customers:some are making deposit while others are withdrawing from the cashiers. The bank was more filled up more than every other working days of the week as usual. It is always a busy day for the workers in the bank since it is the last working day of the week. what is the problem here? the security man asked one of the customers who almost turned the bank upside down with a loud shout. Sir, I came here some minutes ago, I had a call, so I asked this man here to secure my position, the customer explained. Yes, what happened next?, the security man asked further. So, I I I...he stammered. He asked me to secure his position for him till he returns. This man here came a minute after he had left. I told him that there was someone at my back who just had a call but he insisted of occupying the position, the man whom Francis asked to help secure his position chipped in. you never told me someone was here when I came, Mr. Joseph added. Okay, now I understand the cause of the disagreement. Please, you can now come and occupy your position., the security man politely commanded. Dragging for position on queue has always been a problem in the bank mostly on Fridays where the number of customers is always on the increase. Grace was one of the cashiers attending to customers on the queue. Please, make sure you count the money for accuracy before leaving the counter, Grace politely instructed as she handed the money over to the customer.. Graces line of customers is always longer than that of her colleagues because she is always receptive and accomodating towards the customers. On several occasions, many customers have in their own generous mind dashed her money to show their satisfaction and appreciation for her accomodating gestures. Aside that, most of the male customers have tried in many instances to woo her but they had never succeeded on any attempt. Mr. Jacob who is the Managing Director of the bank has always put on strategic efforts in winning Graces heart. It has been so from the very first day that Grace received her employment letter from the MD. Congratulations! You are welcome to Zenith Bank, he congratulated her with a smile as he handed the employment letter to her . Thank you, sir, He lost control of himself when he saw Grace exiting from his office. He couldnt help but stare at Graces steps and well shaped hips until she was out of sight. Wow! Wow!! Wow!!! I think this one will soon be added to the list of pawns, he said to himself. Mr. Jacob is a promiscous man who have slept with almost all the female workers in the bank. He has always succeeded because of his intimidating position. He has always threatened to write a query that could lead to them being fired each time they prove to be tough-headed to his lustful request of sleeping with them. In one of the occasions, one of Graces colleagues whose duty position is just beside her position initiated a conversation with his friend during lunch break period Bros, have you even noticed the new hot cake in our bank?, George wittingly asked. Ha! Hot cake, from where? Peter curiously returned his question. Yes na! Dont you have eyes?
