LOVE PATROL # batman 2015: Ever since those early memories of my father lamenting the loss of his comic book collection, including a Batman #1 among others, the figure of the Batman has loomed large in my heart. My father would describe characters such as The Scarlet Pimpernel by way of relating him back to Batman (even though it was the former which clearly influenced the latter). I am happy to report that, even recently, I bought myself a stylish Batman baseball cap and have been incorporating it into my outfits, almost as a reminder to those around me that we should not forget the stories that live in our hearts. To understand from this documentary that a New Jersey native, Michael Uslan, was instrumental in the bringing about the rich & fantastic iterations of Batman films after basically fighting all of Hollywood ~ and to watch his story unfold as a thread in the story of how Batman has continued to inspire real life people to emerge as a hero in their own lives ~ only brought me closer to the truth of what it means to be human and to be honest with ones own passion. https://youtube/watch?v=sf_7IsvXV-U
