LOVE THE GAME! Im so Thankful for players and asst. Coaches. I want to say Thank You to the parents for getting their kids to practice this morning for 6am. I have a great group of players. God is Good! This morning practice went very well. Today was focusing on being better then yesterday. We did that very well. God is teaching me a lot about myself with my coaching ability and how to react to certain situations. Even though I dont have my whole team yet due to we have a great football team here and with share a lot of athletes. It all good. True story.... This morning I had 1 Freshman come to practice today at 6am on crutches just to watch and learn. NOW thats dedication. See he could have stay home and not get up at all because he only watching right now. Gotta Love it! This morning I had to pick up 5 kids for practice. Well I pick up 4 of the 5 because the 5th on didnt come outside and was still asleep. So I left him. Well we are getting ready to start practice he walks in. I tell him to take off jogging to get loose because he was late. Well come to find out he ran this morning to practice in the cold and he lives 4miles away from the gym. WOW WOW WHAT LOYALTY AND DEDICATION! Guess What? That young man is also a Freshman. The Future is bright here at Bardstown High. I have kids who love the game. As a Coach you have to Love it when kids want to be coach by you that at all cost they will do whatever it takes to get to practice. My guys are doing this just for PRACTICE just think what theyll do for Games! Cant say nothing about him not wanting to get better. Im so Blessed to be where Im at right now. Even its hard and kids are talking back and not doing what they suppose to be doing. I look up and God is teaching me everyday something new. Thank you Lord for Everything and everyone! Love The Lord, Love my Family, Love my players and my Life. Love the Game! Love the game. Love the game for the joy of accomplishment. Love the game for everything it can teach you about yourself. Love the game for the feeling of belonging to a group endeavor in got do its best. Love the game for being involved in a team whose members cant wait to see you do your best. Love the game for the challenge of working Harder than you ever have at something and then Harder than that. Love the game because it takes ALL TEAM MEMBERS TO GIVE ITS ALL! Love the game because at it best the game tradition will include your contributions. Love the game because you belong to long line of fine Athletes who have loved it. It is now your Legacy. Love the game so much that you will pass on your love of the game to another Athlete who had seen your DEDICATION your challenges, your Triumphs and then that Athlete will because of you Love the Game.
