That is super traumatic for a sensitive dog and Maya entered the shelter with physical trauma, as well; her paws were bloody and painful so it comes as no surprise that she was stiff and uncomfortable during the paw handling portion of the SAFER. Maya was find as a family pet and she should be fone again, once she gets out of the shelter. Only a rescue group can save Maya, tonight.
