LSA Tennis Regular Season wrapped up on Tuesday April 15 at the varsity district tournament. · Congratulations to Seniors Paola Sarria and Maris Fechter for qualifying for the TAPPS State Tournament that will be held in Waco, TX 4/23-24. Paola and Maris have worked hard since freshmen year and to finish their LSA tennis career with a trip to state is a wonderful accomplishment! We are very proud of the girls! · Harrison Little/Billy Wang teamed up to advance to the quarterfinals of district, dropping a very close 3 set match to Pope. Harrison and Billy were very close to advancing to state and we look forward to the boys working hard and taking the next step with their tennis next year! · Kathleen Johnson and Summer Yang, in girls singles each beat Westbury Christian players and dropped a tough match in the girls singles quarterfinals of district. They represented LSA strong! · Samantha Trapani and Tori Hatch finished the season with an outstanding record in girls doubles. This duo teamed up and brought a great energy to the court! This team has a chance for great results and we look forward to next season! · LSA varsity boys David Villareal, Reed Villareal, Matthew Greene, and Franco Sabatini finished their season in the first round of the district tournament!
