LUHYA COMMUNITY ECONOMIC AND POLITICAL MARGINALISATION FACTS: -Luhya community has the highest unemployment rate in the country -Luhya community commands the highest per capita manual labour in the country, -Luhya community has the highest lowest paid workers in the country -Per capita Luhya community has the lowest literacy in the country -Per capita Luhya community is the most mistreated and discriminated in the work force than any other community in the country. -Per capita Luhya community has the least people with degrees or higher education in the country. -Luhya community has no national or local political leadership, Luhya community depends on other communities to lead so they can follow. -Per capita Luhya community is the least overseas travelled and educated community. -Per capita Luhya community is the poorest in the country -Per capita Luhya community has the lowest business and company ownership in the country. -Per capita Luhya community has the lowest executives in large private and parastatal companies in the country despite being the second and soon to be the largest tribe in the country. -Luhya counties are the least developed in the country. Due to many of the above factors, which we can argue about, dissect them to justify the unjustifiable, Majority Luhya community especially the young and women are destituted, they have very little hope, they are dejected in many ways. CAN WE AFFORD TO WAIT ANOTHER DAY TO TAKE ACTION? IF YES WHY?, IF NOT WHAT ROLE ARE YOU AS AN INDIVIDUAL PREPARED TO PLAY TO ERASE THIS PATHETIC SORRY 50 YEAR HISTORY OF OUR COMMUNITY. obulala
