Yesterday Secretary of the Interior Sally Jewell announced more than $40 million in state grant funding for outdoor recreation projects this year, saying that "[LWCF] has been a resounding success - benefiting all citizens - putting back into our lands what we have extracted from our federal waters. The program not only improves our quality of life but also benefits our economy through activities like hunting, hiking, fishing, team sports, camping, bird watching and tourism
