Laboso raps Rutto over fundraiser Monday, October 20, 2014 - 00:00 -- BY FELIX KIPKEMOI National Assembly Deputy Speaker Dr Joyce Laboso has criticised Bomet Governor Isaac Rutto’s actions during a fundraiser at Tenwek High School. Last Saturday, Rutto grabbed the microphone from Elgeyo Marakwet Senator Kipchumba Murkomen. He said he is the one supposed to invite the chief guest, Senate majority leader Kithure Kindiki. The meeting ended prematurely without the MPs speaking. Speaking at a press conference in Bomet town yesterday, Laboso and Bomet Central MP Ronald Tonui termed Rutto’s conduct “irresponsible, shameful and embarrassing”. Laboso said every event should not turn into a political contest.
