Labrador lovers, please take a look at this lovely chocolate female! Loca is only about a year old and has not had an easy life so far. She was apparently abandoned by her family and they never bothered to teach her anything when they had her, so Loca will need lots of firm, fair, consistent handling. Like most young Labs, she is very friendly, and has high energy and is quite strong on the leash, so she needs plenty of exercise and needs to learn how to focus. Loca will likely get along with most dogs and children over 6 yrs who understand how to interact with an energetic young dog. Labs are outgoing, active, playful dogs, and Loca seems to have all the best qualities of this wonderful breed. She just needs to learn what you want from her. She will need people who have some experience and can commit to giving her the exercise, fun games and training that will make her the good canine citizen that she can be!
