Lacey Says I would love to know ways to calm your child down during a meltdown, my son is non verbal. and when he has a meltdown he screams and cries and throws things. I try everything to help. i try talking to him and try my best to console him, but all that seems to do is upset him and make him cry louder! which makes me feel like im unable to calm my son down properly, so im dying to know successful ways to calm a child down during a meltdown, thank you
