Lacking context, I can only respond to what I see and what I heard in the video. From what I could tell, she was asked to get off the train because she had her foot on an empty seat. It seems to me that you could ask for her ID and give her a summons (maybe they did that, I dont know). It didnt help when she reared back and tried to punch one of them. However, I submit that there are many cops who have taken violent, even lethal action against (predominately) black citizens because they were scared or thought the individual may have had a weapon. In line with that, I would argue that a healthy (albeit unfortunate) amount of fear of police officers is warranted and she should be able to make the same argument when explaining her actions. This is what happens when fear and anger collide with police quotas.
