Lacy Rae Moore was sentenced to 16 years in prison today for arson of the Forest Place apartments. Vickie Edwards, a former resident of Forest Place and a reliable source of breaking news for FH during the fires testified at todays hearing. She posted these remarks for us: I was the only one to testify at Lacey Moores sentencing, but it seems my words and the written statements by others went a long way. Judge Billy Roy Wilson sentenced her to 16 years, as opposed to the 12 recommended by the AUSA. An ATF agent and someone from the AUSAs office both stopped me to thank me for speaking, saying that this sort of thing never happens. Good riddance to her, and heres hoping for some normalcy moving forward.
