Lacy is a one-year-old girl who has barely arrived and is already on the euth list. :( A volunteer writes: "Lacy. This is a pretty name for an elegant dog, all white with few freckles and a brown spot on her left cheek. Lacy gets up slowly when she sees me at her door. Her body wiggles slowly, her tail wags. She is ready. What a great walker she is, trotting calmly by my side and meeting other dogs in a very peaceful way, even the little ones. She eliminates as soon as we leave the building and poses for pictures, siting and staying on command. In the yard, Lacy expresses her sociability. She is clearly happy to be with a human, jumps at my chest for attention and comfort. She hops on the bench next to me and kisses galore. She loves to be petted and has a face full of bliss when she sits on my lap. Lacy is very affectionate. She is a beautiful female, much too thin. Although intact, her coat has not been groomed in a while. She is extremely hungry, takes my treats avidly and seeks food wherever she smells it. Lacy does not seem to have been a pampered pet but being a sociable and loving pooch, has all the potentials to be one if given a chance to be discovered and understood...
