Lacy update :) We still have a long journey ahead but she is slated to be moved out of ICU into the next level (Intermediate care bed) in the next few days. She has been breathing on her own for over 24 hours and most of the tubes have been removed. She is spending more time with her eyes open and roaming, as well as responding to familiar voices. We still have to be careful because they have been reducing her pain medication and that combined with with a bit of over-stimulation (family and friends) results in her heart rate spiking every so often. Keep those prayers and thoughts coming :)
