FAILURE TO DO SO WILL RESULT IN YOUR NAME BEING ELIMINATED. Game Setting: All games must be played in sunny / clear weather conditions. Difficulty Level : World Class User Defined AI Settings: Default Game Speed: Normal Referee: Random Injuries: On Offsides: On Bookings: On Handball: Off Camera: Tele Controller Setting: Defending: Tactical Defending Analog Sprint: On Pass Assistance: Semi Shot Assistance: Semi Rules: General 1. Tournament will be contested on PlayStation 3 systems running FIFA 2014. 2. Controllers will be provided on site for competitors to play with at the gaming stations but players can bring their own PS3 controllers to use if they feel more comfortable. 3. A player has 3 minutes to show-up at the gaming station once their name has been announced to have a match. Failure to do so will result in a forfeit. 4. Players must advise judges if they are going to be missing from the playing area for an extended period, permission to do so will be at the judge’s discretion. 5. Matches will be overseen by individual judges who will report the outcome of the match to the bracket organizer. 6. Digicel has a zero tolerance policy for cheating. Players caught cheating, “glitching”, colluding or abusing in-game mechanics in any way will be removed from the tournament. 7. Competitors will conduct themselves in a friendly and respectful manner before and after matches to ensure the spirit of competition is represented appropriately. Tournament 1. Players are allotted 2 minutes at the start of the match after selecting their team to organize their team’s offensive and defensive formations as well as their controller settings before the match starts. 2. All matches in preliminaries pools will be 4 minute halves; final matches will be 5 minute halves. 3. Players are allowed 4 Pauses per match for substitutions and can only pause the game to do so if they have the ball in possession, their player has been injured and they have possession or the ball is currently out of bounds. 4. Matches will all be decided in a penalty shootout if match ends in a draw. 5. INTERNATIONAL/CLASSIC/WORLD XI Teams are off limits for prelims. Finals will be exclusively locked to international teams based on player representation. 6. Tournament is run in a Double Elimination style bracket format under the supervision of the Fighter’s Allegiance of Jamaica and as such they are the governing body for which all tournament issues are to be directed and addressed. 7. Upon the end of the tournament preliminaries the 32 finalist competitors will pick the World Cup team they want to represent in the finals of the “FIFA 2014 Digicup Gamers Challenge” based on the current qualified teams in the 2014 World Cup. Ranking from 1-32 they will be presented with an honorary jersey to wear on June 28th at the finals of the “FIFA 2014 Digicup Gamers Challenge” tournament corresponding to their team choice. Once a particular team has been chosen for representation out of the currently qualified 32 World Cup teams they cannot be chosen by another finalist. 8. Cash prizes and more are to be awarded to the top three contestants after the finals have concluded and the winners determined. 9. If tournament winner is 17 years old and younger in age they need to have a parent or guardian present with them to receive the cash prize. 10. Digicel Jamaica and Fighters Allegiance Jamaica retain all right to change and amend rules as need on a case by case occurrence.
