Ladies and Gentlemen: Over the last several years, SJRS has focused on supporting South Bay Artists and Bands. Weve succeeded and failed in that charge time and time again. Weve had some of the most amazing staff along side come and go. Weve been honored to harbor some fantastic events. Weve seen the community rise, fall and rise again. Weve seen bands start with an idea and grow into monsters. Weve supported while being supported, and for that, I am eternally in debt. With our accomplishments, there has always been a cost. Some of it, personally, more than I could have anticipated. More than I would have imagined. Encouragement from family; my amazing wife and my sons, close friends, beloved partners, investors, customers, even just observers has kept this mission alive. I consider myself to be one of the luckiest people in the world and have strong evidence to say so. Weve never been able to properly express our gratitude for all of your ongoing support. This has truly been the story of my life, and I wear it proudly in the brightest and darkest moments. Your blessings have sustained us, and we will endure... With that said, Im pleased to announce that SJRS has confirmed that it will host 90 Days of Summer which includes 90 consecutive, all ages live music shows starting May 1st 2014 and concluding July 31st 2014. Over 270 bands will play. I encourage you to consider attending as many as you can. All of the events are being coordinated between seven promotion groups in an unprecedented collaboration never done before, all for the sake of driving the most fantastic live music into the community as possible. While our private club certainly has a reputation, these events are not genre specific and we are excited to see the results.
