Given this fact, I figured Id let you in on a little secret gem of a custom craftsman. The company name is Bucks County Drum Co and they are based in Bucks County, PA. The thing that makes this manufacturer special, is he has patented the idea of mixing two woods to get unique tones. As you probably know, different woods give different tones and my kit is a combination of maple and ash. This gives the tone warm qualities from the maple and bright/punchy tones from the ash. Its breathtaking. To be exact, my set is six ply maple and one ply ash(on the inside). The finish is an olive green wood stain fade
