Ladies...dont get so caught up on this lingo and these cliches that you end up alone. Standing BEHIND a man vs standing BESIDE him. In relationships, there will be times when you both will have to switch position. Healthy relationships arent one dimensional, so if you must always stand beside him, what happens when you are needed to be in the front? I guarantee you its gonna happen if you just keep living. This whole notion of independence and Im all woman was cute when Beyonce was single but shes no longer singing that song since shes got a husband. But most of yall will follow her before you follow a man who knows what hes doing. Lets do better so that we can have better. When you know your role, you dont have to demand placement.
