Lads day out on the river turned into a Percy fest! If you think Im sitting here and explaining the whole day in detail you got another thing coming. It involved an 80mph bouncing wing mirror, a host of 2lb, 3lb and even a 4lb stripey, a couple of big old crocs (15,8 & 18,8) caught on ridiculous tackle which spawned a squat on a bridge with bulging pants, 2 PBs, a cracking pub lunch, some bloody great banter, new friends made and old friendships fortified, after hours Perch and some seriously tired eyes! Boys, can honestly say I dont think any of us expected such a good day but its testament to all your angling skills. Some different styles and tweaks producing some bloody awesome fish. Everyone caught a 3lb+ fish, there were 5 of us fishing .... stunning :) Lee, your face and stance on the bridge while hanging on for dear life with that big bugger is etched in my memory forever mate, congrats on 2 PBs with the 3,9 Perch and 18,8 Pike :D Ash, ya smashed it mate. Youre a top bloke and angler without a shadow of a doubt. Glad to know you and look forwards to the next encounter. Neil, the early success, the lull and then the absolute smasher after dark.
