#Laggies, or Lacking as it should have been call, serves up a main course of #KeiraKnightley with a side order of #ChloeGraceMoretz. Unfortunately, this pre-fab fast food take out order is lacking the gourmet seasoning it takes to keep it from being bland. The fault is in the writing. It starts the movie off as fun and as cute as Knightley herself only to turn it into something that just doesn’t deliver. There is a scene where Moretz wants Knighley to call her later so Moretz gives her a cell phone and says, “Its ok, I just use it to keep stuff that I don’t want my dad to see.” Who has extra cell phones to give to strangers? Later, they pile five deep into a friend’s car to go to the mall instead of Knightley driving her own car. So much of this movie doesn’t make sense and is only on screen to set up the next scene. It’s worth watching at home with friends if you’re in the mood to channel you’re inner teenage girl with copious amounts box wine, other than that, you’re not missing much. I really suggest skipping “Laggies” and getting your Keira Knightley fix with “Begin Again”. youtu.be/WQEYmmErpjg
