Lagos Okada Riders Join Student Protest. Says Enough of APC Deceit In Lagos. By Team Beta, Vox Populi News Wednesday 2 April 14. 9:32 AM The Lagos State University Students protest which called for an immediate quash of the state owned University tuition fee which rises from the sum of N25,000 to a whopping,ungodly and gargantuan sum of N193,750 to N348,750. Many parent have complained immensely that the sudden increment in the tuition fee is totally against the will,believe and not in accordance with the dream of the late sage Jeremiah Oyeniyi Obafemi Awolowo, who introduces a free education programme which was a vast one extending to the primary, secondary and tertiary levels of learning. Adding that, if not for the FREE education which was introduced by Pa Awolowo, most politicians wouldnt have had the opportunity of going to school. It will be recall that the Lagos state speaker, Mr. Adeyemi Ikuforiji, who was also a beneficiary of Chief Jeremiah Oyeniyi Obafemi Awolowos FREE education programme, said that the university isnt meant for the poor shortly after the increment of the tuition fee was pronounced by the Lagos state government. The Okada riders, who had shown their concern by condemning most of the Lagos state policies which is not friendly to the poor masses said they will support the students in making sure that the state government quash the hike of the tuition fee and also seize the opportunity to declare the ruling All Progressive Congress APC, as anti masses government, seeking for a change of government come 2015.— Vox Populi News.
