Date: July 2008 The concrete risers carried the rail over a valley formed by Porter Creek, and through a dense woods, just south of Lake Erie shoreline and U.S Route 6. The concrete trestle at trestle at 432 feet long was the second longest on the system. It carried the railwayt through John Huntingtons property, over Porter Creek and through some dense wooded areas. Lake Shore was known for its luxury cars decked out with cherry woodwork and large padded leather seats. There were also smoking and non-smoking sections. The railway also carried considerable freight.
