Lakhs of Devotees at Charishareef support revival of Sheikh Ul Mirwaiz Maulana Amir Ud Din of Khankah Panah emphasis for respecting emotions of people attached with the name . Srinagar September 5th 2013; At a biggest congression held at Charshareef at the holy Shrine of Hazrat Sheikh Noor ud din Wali (RA) Charishareef and khankah Panah of Charishareef , the Mirwaiz of Khankah Panah Maulana Amir Ud Din in his address to lakhs of devotees who had assembled on Friday and Saturday at the Shrine during urs period of Sheikh Ul Alam Hazrat Sheikh Noor ud din Wali (RA) he emphasized for immediate restoration of the name of Sheikh ul Alam to International Airport Which falls in the District Budgam with immediate effect he said that we appreciate that during the tenure of Khwaja Farooq Renzushahas as Dy. Commissioner of the District who played vital role in construction of Khankah Panah after the gap of 12 years of its burning in 1995, he also recommended the name of Sheikh ul Alam Airport to International Airport Srinagar which was accepted by Airport Authority at that time and in all worldwide official websites the international Airport name was flashed , its name continued for two years but it is unfortunate that Srinagar Airport Authority are completely silent to repeat Sheikh ul Alam name to international Airport. He said we support and appreciate all edacious which are being made to revive the name of Sheikh ul Alam to this airport as was officially given by competent authorities at that time. He expressed surprise that this name is not being tolerated by airport authority of India, which is symbol of our emotional and spiritual ethos. The Airport Authority should realize that people of J&K State even including people of other States as well have great reverence for great saint Hazrat Nunde Reshhi. He is being respected by Hindus Muslims and other religions equally. He has during his time propagated for human brotherhood and unity of the people he has never discriminated between Hindus & Muslims, therefore for his spiritual heights he received always reverence throughout the world. The people of the other parts of the world feel proud in projecting his holy name as symbol of human love but Airport Authority of India seems to have bias with the name of a great Saint.
