Lament, according to Webster dictionary is an expression of sorrow, regret, or unhappiness about something. Too many of us suffer from lament and do not see any way out of it. When we constantly stay focused on the negative things of our lives we will most assuredly never see the escape from our circumstances. Lamenting the things of old, of what use to be, of what was, of how it was, will keep you in despair. Many are afraid to look beyond their problems because they have become accustom to the feeling of despair. Many feel that if we express sorrow others will feel pity for us and care what happens to us. Human evolution is the process of change in human beings. We must change in order to survive or we die. So how do we stop lamenting? We lament in recovery over our unfair situations, we lament for our love ones, the causes of our problems, and we lament because we see those we love doing the same mistakes we made. So how can we focus on our recovery without relapsing to our insanity? It is possible to come out of that position you are in because if you humble yourself before God, what death has take, what sin has eaten, God will Restore back to you if you remain faithful to him. When we come to recovery it is difficult to have hope and trust. But, if you put both on God and surrender forgetting what others think about your faith, the windows of Gods blessing will pour out on you. My soul has them still in remembrance, and is humbled in me. This I recall to my mind, therefore I have hope. It is the Lords mercy that we are not consumed, because his compassion fail not.
