Land acquisition act is an immoral act, because it takes away land forcibly from farmers at rates much below the market rates and hands it over to industry at dirt cheap rate. The only moral means for industry to procure land is by approaching the individual farmers and paying the market value. This holds good whether it is given by the center or the state, irrespective of which is the ruling dispensation that has used force to acquire land. A society that indulges in such acts can not be called a civilized society.
