Land of the industry, home of the pro: more Avid Media Composer hoops How to add an 1-kHz beep to make a 2-pop? 1. Goto Menu Bar/Tools/Audio Tool. 2. A window titled Audio Tool will pop up. Find a PH button on the UPPER-RIGHT. Click on it to drop down a list. 3. Choose Create tone media. 4. A window titled Create Tone Media will pop up. The default is set for 1kHz beep. Change duration to 1 second. (Although youd only need 1 frame, this is how the industry pros consider pro.) 5. Choose where you want to store this audio clip by choosing from Target Bin. 6. Click OK and youll get a clip for 1 second. 7. Goto Timeline window. 8. SHIFT+D to change select tool/mode. 9. Shrink it down to one frame. 10. Press U to get out of OVERWRITE TRIM MODE. 11. Move it to exactly the last frame before the leader goes black. There you have a 2-pop after jumping through 11 hoops.
