Landon had another clinic appointment today and his platelets were 41,000 and his hemoglobin was 7.6. Since he was not lethargic or tired (actually he was kind of a wild-man today telling all the nurses about the Lego sets he wants for Christmas), the doctor said he would be fine not getting a blood transfusion today and then re-checking him next Tuesday. I was on board with that plan. Then off we went to Whole Foods and to the craft store to find the supplies needed for these cute Ninja turtle Christmas tree ornaments I saw on Pinterest!!Everyday he has shed more hair. Today it was really looking thin in the back where he sleeps on it. His first grade teacher and class sent him a new hat! :) Plus more homemade cards from his classmates!!!Keep praying for direction. I have lots of leads to look into pertaining to all my requests. Tomorrow I will run out of bone broth. Hopefully getting more bones next week. (Landon will be happy for the break in eating the broth). Im really proud of him eating it this far!! Im also happy that he has been eating a salad mixture with a homemade dressing consisting of organic lemon juice, organic apple cider vinegar, extra virgin olive oil, and coconut nectar......topped with pine nuts!!!! (He ate TWO bowls of it tonight!!) Weve also been getting some ionized water from my fellow cancer mom, Julie.Have a great weekend and Ill touch base with you all next Tuesday!
