Landon is very fascinated by magicians and how they do their tricks! He watches David Blaine & David Copperfield and he loves to practice and perform what hes learning for us! So today... L comes to me and asks me to light a dollar bill on fire and I look at him and give him the mom stare, and proceed to tell him that we are not using real fire as that is for professionals whove had many years of practice! So this smart kid goes but mom how can I practice and get good at it if I dont try it! Uh uh uh uh.. Yes I know but were not using real fire dude! Promise me you will never ever EVER without asking me (ps the matches are hidden). he promises me he will never EVER on his life! BUT! Secretly (& I cant tell him this now) I love that he wants to try new things - things that are challenging! Hes my safe kid the kid who is very cautious and theres nothing at all wrong with that! To see him begin to grow and challenge himself and want to try things I love seeing his adventurous side come out! (Ps dont freak out Im not letting my kid play with matches :)!!!)
