Language has the power to heal or hurt depending on the intention and delivery. Words carry energy and we all have memories of things said that have left either a positive or negative memory in us. This should remind us what we say has power and we must be conscious of how we use words. Words are not simple, connected letters used only to convey meaning, they are also powerful transmitters of feeling. The words you say and hear affect you, your emotional state and also affect the people around you. Be very aware of your words, the intention behind these words, the tone and manner in which they are delivered because once spoken the effect is immediate and cannot be taken back. Anyone can verbally attack another. Anyone can be angry and tell other people things that will hurt them. Anyone can be sarcastic and humiliating. It takes real strength to be silent. Silence is so powerful. Silence can be so...loving.
