Lapeer District Library invites you to “Explore the X-Files” LAPEER, MI –The Lapeer District Library invites you to come in to Explore the X-Files with Joel Tacey on Thursday, July 17, 2014 at 6:00 p.m., at the Marguerite deAngeli Branch Library (921 W. Nepessing Street, Lapeer). Complete with a NEW collection of authentic hands-on artifacts, participants will explore an amazing array of historys mysteries contained within our very own X-Files. Joel will expand on the Jivaro Shrunken Heads, shock you with the truth of the Danvers Insane Asylum, and torture you with the Cleveland Torso Murders, among other gripping tales. Well also look to the heavens as we consider UFO sightings, secret societies, and alien abductions! This 45-minute program is based upon haunting REAL historical events and is appropriate for ages 12 and up. This fascinating program is free but sign up is required as space is limited.
