Lapsus Calami: OFFICERS OF PARENTS-MONTESSORI ASSN. RESIGNED Nine members of the board of Parents-Montessori Association of the Passi Montessori International School resigned. Those who resigned are: Mrs. Ivy J. Vila, Mrs. Ana Padilla, Mrs. Glenda Padernal, Mrs. Ellen Fusin, Mrs. Maribel Glico, Mrs. Connie Jean Paclibar, Mrs. Vilma Pagayona, Mrs. Michelle Padernal and Mr. Amando Alontaga. Why? According to a Board Resolution dated February 8, 2014, the association wanted to return the contributions of parents amounting to P86,000 intended for a project on the ground that they do not agree with the president of the school, Mrs. Violeta M. French. In her letter to parents dated February 16, 2014, President Ivy Vila said: ”I was harassed and insulted by both Mr. and Mrs. French. I went out of the room and stayed at the parents’ official waiting area. A few minutes later, I was instructed by Mrs. Jessica Jadulan to get out of the school premises on the instruction of Mrs. French because the school is their private property.” Mrs. Vila executed a complaint affidavit notarized by Atty.
