Larkrise to…Sacrewell! The Cambridgeshire countryside will come to life before your very eyes at the Sacrewell Farm and Country Centre’s Country Life and Shire Horse Show on September 14th and 15th. The wheels of the 18th Century Watermill will be ground into life for a weekend of milling and breadmaking where people can come along, learn how wheat is turned into flour and how flour is made into bread. They can even have a go at making a delicious fresh bread roll which will be baked in the Miller’s oven. All of the main action will be over in the Shire Horse paddocks where, for the first time this year, Wisbech Shire Horse Society will host their annual show on the Sunday only.
