Larry and I were discussing my toe this morning as we were getting up and around (him to go feed my calves, the darling, and me to go use the little girls room) and he was trying to convince me to ice it. Putting an ice pack on it sends me through the roof from the weight of it on the bone shards, and the ice water bath method they used at the hospital is brutal on my arthritic ankle. Well, he finally won the argument (hey, the pain killers have me off my A game, what can I say?) and retrieved a tub and some ice for me so I can get to it. His parting advice for me as I rounded the corner between the hallway and the bathroom? If I was you, I wouldnt be stubbing that toe either!. Good to know, hon. Good to know. How I do love that man, some 36 years after I first fell for him. (Pic in comments not for the faint of heart)
