Last 4 days I have been to Dandeli . Heres what we saw Animals: 1. Tiger ( Its extreme rare in the Anshi forests 2 .Small Indian Civet 3 .Palm civet 4 .Malabar Giant Squirrel 5 .Terrapin 6 .Jackals ( 8 of them ) Spiders 7 .Large wood spider (Male and Female ) 8 .Jumping Spider 9 .Tented Spider Birds 10 .Great Indian Hornbill 11 .Malabar pied hornbill 12. Indian grey hornbill 13. Malabar grey hornbill 14 . Malabar trogan 15 . Asian brown flycatchers 16 . Lesser whistling duck 17. Green bee eater 18 . Chestnut headed bee eater 19. Black shouldered kite 20 . Bhraminy kite 21 . Black kite 22 . River tern 23. Peregrine falcon ( not sure ) 24. White rumped swallows 25 . Red rumped swallows 26 . Wire tailed swallows 27 . Alpine swift 28 . Common coot 29 . Egrets 30. Straighted heron 31 . Indian pond heron 32 . Baya weaver 33 . White breasted kingfisher 34 . Coppersmiths barbet 35 . Crimson headed barbet 36 .
