Last Night at Youth Group - Sept 29 2014 In our modern age of doubt and skepticism, its no surprise that many teens are confused, or have friends who are confused, about God. Youth are CONSTANTLY saturated with falsehood about Gods existence. Last night we learnt about the timeless truths of the Catholic faith and tradition, so that teens might feel more confident to witness to their faith. Bible Readings: Hebrews 11:1 1 Kings 18:22-24,27,32-39 (Baal was the god of fire, storm, fertility, and life. and should have been able to bring rain and provide water for the people. Nevertheless, they experienced a severe drought for over 3 years. When Elijah drenched the sacrifice with precious, scarce water, he did it to humiliate Ball and emphasize the enormity of Gods power.
